Wishing you a Merry Christmas!!!

Not to scare you or anything...but my little boy just asked "is it Christmas tomorrow, Mummy?" Haha!! He must keep seeing all of my design work....after a gentle let down that there is still six or so more weeks to go he seemed even happier that he had more time to add to that never ending christmas list and work on the toys he really needs!!!

I'm still ever so excited from the JS Blog Hop and the Christmas Treasures Digital Kit that many of you blog hopped around the internet for to collect the FREE downloads which were available (don't worry...you have a couple more days to go if you havn't downloaded your freebies yet... click here to be taken directly to the post with all the info!!!)

Anyhow my head is spinning with lots of new and creative ideas and I must, must get pen (or I'm guessing pencil may be more appropriate!!!) to paper and get creating some of these ideas. Whilst I'm of to do that, I'll leave you with a couple of simple cards I created using my FREE digital downloads! All I did was to create a design 4" x 6" which I then printed out onto cardstock! So, so easy!!! If you missed yesterdays post, why not scroll down and check out the cute scrapbook page I also created with my FREE digital download kit.

So many possibilitys! If you use any elements of my kit on any of your creations, I'd love to see :) You can email them across to me at clairelvick@aol.com

See you soon!

Red is the color!

It isn't my usual but for the last few days Red has most certainly been THE color! Painting my nails, oggling at pretty papers and playing with paints obviously wasn't enough, so today I set about work creating some new digital designs with deep purples and red taking president. It has been absolutly brilliant and I have created a wide variety of designs. Check out this fab card (although looking a little blurred in the thumbnail below!!!) that I have whipped up this evening.

Throughout this evening it has undertaken many different combinations of layout and colors but I love it - especially the unusual color sheme that it ended up been!! I may just have to send it to print and embellish with some finishing touches such as stickles or glossy accents........ooooohhh just had a thought......... what about a couple of red buttons underneath the greeting to add additional layers and a true handmade feel. Gee - Do I get excited easily!?!
